Scenario Response 4

The writer in the scenario would be at the beginner writing phase. To move this student forward, I would begin by trying to ignite their passion through the presentation of a wide variety of texts on the idea that through exposure they would naturally drift towards a topic or subject they genuinely cared about. The variety of texts would include everything from comic books (like mangas) to excerpts from longer novels and books. Once they had found a genre or style that "spoke" to them, I would begin to guide them through the writing process, going through each of the five stages of writing. The goal would be to build their confidence and, as a result, foster their motivation to continue writing.
