At regular intervals during the year, all of the teachers in our department come together to review the grade-level data  for our students in order to create "data action plans". These meetings are important in that they allow us to identify where our students are struggling so that we can create  plans that will provide differentiated instruction that will target the needs of individual students, specific groups of students or even entire classes. The grade-level data reviews help us to track student progress over time so that we can be sure that they are meeting their benchmarks and standards.
