Mod 13 Video Discussion

I really appreciated how the teacher had a pre and post evaluation of the concept by allowing students to collaborate before deconstructing the sentence as a whole group. By doing this students were given the opportunity to predict what the lesson was about  and share ideas with their partner. The teachers were able to monitor and assess the conversations to further guide their instruction, and get a sense of student understanding without the use of a formal assessment. I would like to implement something like this into my daily lessons. Currently I do not have a co-teacher or paraprofessional however I do collaborate with the ESE interventionist and discuss students' individual needs.
