Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

The ELA criteria that is most important to me is criteria I. This is where it all starts. I need to make sure I am teaching all students in a way that aligns with the state standards. Before the lesson I need to make sure that all students understand the purpose of what is about to be taught. I need to pick a text that all students can relate to, not one that with create bias.
