The interventions I would feel will help are two: a) working with a peer. Students can help each other during the lesson. I will peer a native speaker with a ELL learner. B) I will use humor during the exercises to make the environment friendly. It is important, as our reading stated: “ Humor and emotion bring out their "human" side while investing them further in learning through higher engagement.
