What took the most thought was how to adapt the ELL strategies learned to a VPK classroom. It also took a lot of thought to think about what assessments were appropriate for the age group. My outcomes included clear concept development and students being able to identify characters in the story. They could also re-tell through images or words. They could draw or write words for what was the same and different when comparing two texts.
