Reflection on Assignment 1

I gained understanding about linking academic standards with specific learning objectives through this assignment. This experience prompted me to consider which standards best support language competencies together with subject understanding. I discovered methods to implement accommodations for student success and techniques to make assessments fair for all students.

This process taught me to be more deliberate when creating lessons that address student needs while maintaining inclusivity. As I continue to learn effective methods for supporting ESOL students in the classroom I anticipate revising and enhancing my lesson plans.
