Mod 10 Video Discussion

As a Spanish speaker, this video was a reminder of how difficult the English language can be. In my classroom we use Heggerty for phonics and this really helps the students understand phonemes. I love how this teacher used her finger to tap under the sounds of the word. She teaches which is the proper "ow" sounds by filling it in and asking us if it makes sense. Moving forward I like how she breaks it down with a visual sheet of vocab words and would like to implement the same.
