Mod 15 Video Discussion

In the video, the teachers modeled intentional co-teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, and active engagement—all of which directly apply to my work. I saw how they used shared responsibility and constant communication to support all learners, especially ELLs, by making content more accessible without watering it down. I also noticed how they modeled language, scaffolded responses, and used visuals, all of which I already try to incorporate in my own classroom. Moving forward, I’d like to build in more co-teaching moments where I and a partner teacher plan with clear roles, and design lessons that include visual aids, sentence frames, and structured group work. I also plan to lean into more modeling and interactive strategies that promote both academic vocabulary and student confidence. This approach helps ensure students are not only hearing the content but are actually understanding and using it.
