Mod 7 Discussion: Data Action

I feel as if my world constantly revolves around student data as it guides everything. Having the right data and more importantly understanding the data in front of you is critical to being successful. During our PLCs we are excited to share the data we have collected and share visual "proof" such as student works. These sessions basically feel as a pep rally as we celebrate success and then get down to the fun part of tweaking any future plans and timelines based on the data in-front of us. I feel so lucky to have planned out the year based on skills that students have mastered or skills that need readjustments with the use of a baseline test on week 1 and pre-test for each unit. Everything is outlined and some benchmarks get reworked into a later unit to strengthen.
