Mod 9 Discussion of my English Language Learners

Strategies that are most applicable for differentiation include, but are not limited to: 

• Audiobooks - The proper use of audiobooks allows learners to hear proper pronunciation and even connotation of certain words. The most success I have had with audiobooks was teaching StudySync which is an online integrated reading platform that allows the reading to be read to the learner. The readings were available in multiple languages and had additional scaffolding in place.
• Shared Reading- This can have a similar effect as having an audiobook reading. It provides proper pronunciations and allows teacher modeling on how to appropriately read.
