Mod 2 Discussion: What the Research Means to Me

while English immersion is a quick fix and can get students caught up quickly, two language classes allow for a more structured environment and it's proven that those students surpass their counterparts by middle school.  the goal as an educator shouldn't be to just get your second language students caught up and out of your classroom by years end.  It is to work with your other educators at other grade levels to provide the best two language environment so they succeed well after they move to the next grade level.
