Mod 9 Discussion: Oral Language Support in My Classroom

Key/Essential questions are importance because it provides the students with a clear topic for discussion. On anchor charts, I have listed ways for students to respond to questions, orally or written, that require them to refer back to the text. Sentence starters are similar. I like using "talking chips" as well because it requires all students to contribute to the discussion.
