Scenario Response 4

To create a welcoming classroom for my international and ELL high school students, I'll start by incorporating cultural recognition and understanding into our everyday routine. We will start each class with a Hello Ticket. Sometimes, these topics will be content-specific, but sometimes they could be fun where students share something about their culture, like traditions or favorite foods, to build a sense of community. I would also like to encourage students to find multi-lingual news sources to get their journalism articles from. I could even use photos from these articles to decorate the classroom.
