Discussion: Final Reflection

I was a little confused about the instructional procedures but after reflecting, I realized what I should have included in the document. I liked this course and it gave me a lot of good strategies and knowledge about working with the ELL population. 

1. Play a video on text features, teach about the types of text features and label them In the story. 

2. Explain the purpose of that text feature in the story 

3. Have students work with a partner on identifying a text feature in the story and why it is important 

4. Have students share, close out the lesson, and complete the exit ticket.
