Mod 19 Discussion: Taking the Lead on Literacy

I would focus on vocabulary content as this is the main struggle of students across all content areas. Students are always going to be gaining new vocabulary and so it is important to have an emphasis on this vocabulary in the classroom. By focusing on vocabulary skills and strategies, the students will be more prepared to handle the lessons being taught.
