Mod 10 Video Discussion

The teaching in the video makes it so that the students are able to learn step by step and follow rules. I think rules for reading new words is very important to the learner because it makes it easier to use at another time. Once they have the rules down then they are able to apply this to more words. I think I would like to apply this with my standards when reading a new text. I can go step by step in my classroom with breaking it down and using key words as building blocks for other standards or questions.
