Mod 1 Video Discussion

In my classroom, I have two students who are from Afghanistan and they speak Persian. In the video, the educator played a game with the students. In this game, the educator said a word out loud and the students had to find that word on flashcards that were placed on the ground. Once a student found that word, the students repeated the word and then did the action of that word. For example, if the word to find was "run," once that word was found, everyone would say "run" and then run in place. In my classroom, I will play a similar game with my students or say various words and then have my students point to those objects. For example, if I say pencil, students can say "pencil" and then find the pencil on their table.
