Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

I would  use compare and contrast activity. There's a reason the venn diagram is widely used, at many different levels of learning. Through the utilization of charts and the analysis of news articles, my students would engage in critical thinking and collaborative learning with peers to compare and contract content. Ad I have stated before, peer learning is vital, so I'd pair up students to offer extra support and maybe add some game or competition aspect to the lesson to keep my students engaged and interested.
