Mod 5 Discussion: Formal and Informal Assessments

One formative assessment that I use in my classroom are exit tickets. Exit tickets are used daily to make sure students grasped the information discussed during the lesson.  It is successful because teachers can use it to monitor students' growth daily.  

One formative assessment approach from the module I would like to try is concept mapping. Using a visual diagram will help students create visual concepts to help better understand materials taught in class.
