Mod 2 Discussion: What the Research Means to Me

Based on research, I feel as though these outcomes provide a standard basis to what is vital when teaching ELL students. The research reminds us of civil rights acts that were passed in order to allow all students to receive an equal and fair opportunity to education. the word "Fair" is important in this statement because students who are learning English may need more resources to achieve the education and that is essential. If ELL students are enrolling in other classes as well as their bilingual immersion class, they will have exposure both socially and academically which will aid in their language development.
