Mod 1 Video Discussion

I loved how the teachers incorporated music, movement, and hand gestures in their lessons to keep the students engaged. I also use these strategies in my classroom. Not only does it ensure engagement but it also makes learning fun and helps ensure that the knowledge is retained. At the end of the day, I had a student come up to me and say that she couldn't get the song out of her head. She was able to remember what an Idiom was from the song and movement. Plus, it gets their energy out.
