First: In your own words, create a newsletter for families and caregivers. The newsletters should be informative and engaging, intended to educate families or caregivers and key stakeholders about the importance of evidence-based teaching practices in supporting students' overall reading development. Use following rubric criteria to ensure you have included the appropriate information.
Next: Engage in self-reflection and evaluate your own level of learning and overall progress by marking the specific criteria that you have met as provided in the rubric. This reflection process allows you to assess your understanding and identify areas for improvement. It also encourages metacognition and self-awareness.
Last: Complete the rubric to provide a self-report as part of the reflection process. Write about your progress in integrating evidence-based practices for each learning goal.
